Shawn Marie Carnall (Director) describes herself as a “hopeful romantic" who has been planning events since 1995. She has been an event manager for an educational association, planning conferences for 300-18,000 people and banquets for 200-1,000. A former sales manager for Hilton Hotels, she decided to channel her organizational energies to weddings in 1999. She holds the prestigious CMP designation (Certified Meeting Professional), has a graduate certificate in Event Management from the George Washington University and is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. The brides and grooms she works with often cite her "gentle nature" and "incredible organizational skills" as what they most appreciate about her.
For some weddings, Shawn Marie and her husband James work as a husband-and-wife team. Former dance instructors, Shawn Marie and James also offer First Dance Choreography and Instruction services.
